About the South Perth Community Partnership

 

  

South Perth Community Partnership supports individuals and groups in the South Perth area of Moncreiffe, Friarton, Craigie and South Inch to identify issues of concern, find local solutions and encourage more involvement within the area.

The South Perth Communities Partnership is made up primarily of local people as well as a variety of other partners such as the police, local churches and schools, Perth & Kinross Council, local councillors, voluntary organisations and projects  and Gateway Community Church and others who meet about once a month.

 

Over the last year the group has helped organise a Fun Day in August 2010, an Open Day at Glenearn Campus in March 2011 and continued to develop and produce the local newsletter. The group have also been updating their community action plan to include needs identified by the local community. This will be available soon on this website. The group also support the South Perth Green Space Group and the South Perth Community  Garden Project.

 

The groups meeting dates to the end of 2011 are

All the meetings are held at Glenearn Community Campus and start at 9.30am, please feel free to come along.

SLS Baton Twirlers

SLS Baton Twirlers meet on a Tuesday nights from 6pm at North Inch Community Campus.  Twirly Tots (up to 4 yrs) 6-6.30pm.  Beginners 4yrs upwards 6-7pm and the main class (up to 18) is 6-8pm.  New members are always welcome.  The team is also available to perform at fetes and galas.  For further information text 07773608155 or email perthshiretwirling@hotmail.co.uk

 

Darnhall Tennis Club

Darnhall Tennis Club has adult coaching starting on Thursday 21 July at 7pm. The cost is £5 per person and is "pay as you go". It is intended to run over 8 weeks and will be run by Olivia Paisley. ALL abilities are welcome with a guarantee that everyone will enjoy the game more with a little knowledge in how to hit the ball in the right direction!
